This Sencha tea has been crafted by a tea master who has gained the highest rank of tea master-ship in Japan. It is a sencha tea that has been crafted to have the perfect balance of sweetness and umami.
The tea leaves themselves are domestic tea leaves that have undergone a distinct heating and steaming process to further bring out their deep umami.
The fact that these tea leaves come loose as opposed to in teabags means that you can enjoy the rich flavor of sencha even more, by brewing the leaves directly in your teapot.
If you want to experience authentic Japanese green tea, then it doesn't get any better than with this premium sencha tea from Suisouen.
For three cups of hot tea, prepare 360ml of hot water and pour it into your tea pot (120ml of hot water per cup of tea.)
For ultimate brewing, heat the water to 70-80 degrees celcius.
Add 5g (about 1 tbsp) of tea leaves into the strainer of your teapot, and let them leaves steep for about 40 seconds.
After 40 seconds the tea is ready and can be poured into individual cups. You can brew a few more pots of tea after the first brew, but the flavor of tea might be a bit more mellow.
