Suisouen Organic Genmaicha Tea is a kind of Japanese green tea that features roasted brown rice. It’s a typical type of Japanese green tea that allows you to enjoy the iconic flavor of green tea with the nutty flavor of the roasted brown rice. What’s unique about this particular genmaicha is that it also features matcha!
Both the green tea and matcha leaves used for this tea are sourced from Kagoshima prefecture and are organic. The brown rice is also organic and domestically sourced. You can feel rest assured drinking this Japanese green tea knowing that all the ingredients that go into it are organic and natural.

The package is resealable to keep the tea bags fresh. The triangular tea bags have neither tags nor string so you can put them into the teapot right away, or take the whole bag with you to work or on the go.
For hot tea, place one tea bag into your teapot and pour hot (~70C) water over top of it. Let it steep for around 1 minute, stir the water slightly, and it’s ready to serve.
For cold tea, put 1-2 tea bags into your heat-proof drink bottle, server, or tea pot. Top up with cold water, and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. For iced tea, refrigerate to chill or add ice cubes.
