Unlike most normal stainless steel counterparts, the blade of this artisan knife is made with Super Gold: it is said that this high speed steel satisfies all four elements essential for blades: hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance, and rustproof property.
There is a bolster attached between the blade and handle, which it prevents it from accumulating dirt and makes it easy to wash.
