Meiji Takenoko no Sato Chocolate Bamboo Tip Shaped Biscuits 70g

$4.65

Meiji Takenoko no Sato has been one of the best selling Japanese snacks for many years for a very good reason. These cute and delicious chocolate and cookie treats are as addictive as they are unique!

These little delights by Meiji, one of Japan's top chocolate companies, offer a perfect blend of crunchy almond flavores biscuit and rich milk chocolate. Each one is shaped charmingly like a little bamboo shoot, making Takenoko No Sato not only a delectable snack but also a visual delight.

A large, cone-shaped chunk of cookie coated in creamy, milk chocolate. What more could you ask for? Perfect for snacking at any time or to give as a present to someone special!

    The Superior Sweet

I tried both this and Kinoko no Yama after a pen pal told me that they were jokingly disputed in Japan because of how similar they are, except for this one being made with cookie and the other being made with biscuit. I prefer this Takenoko no Sato over the Kinoko no Yama because I like the texture and flavor of the cookie over the biscuit, but I will say I prefer the mushroom shape of Kinoko no Yama candy more hahaha! I highly recommend both products and encourage others to try both and decide for themselves which is superior, and help the Japanese settle their brutal and violent dispute over these sweets!
