This is a high-quality and low-sodium shoyu option from Teraoka shoyu brewery. It is an ideal shoyu for those who want to enjoy the delicious flavor of soy sauce but want to limit their salt intake at the same time.

It is a naturally brewed soy sauce made from domestic Japanese soybeans, Japanese wheat, and solar salt. The soybeans used in this product are also non-GMO.

Teraoka uses a patented process that effectively reduces the salt in this shoyu by 48%. As a result, it offers a milder saltiness, without deteriorating the flavor of soy sauce that you’re used to. It is the perfect soy sauce option to use for stir-fries, soups, and stews.

Teraoka is a Japanese soy sauce brewer based in Hiroshima that uses many traditional methods, such as barrel aging, to produce authentic shoyu sauce.

Use this soy sauce in any situation where you wish to acquire its unique flavor. It works great as a base for hot pot, in soups, stews, and stir-fried dishes.

Its rich, mildly salty flavor pairs well with sashimi, cold tofu, grilled fish, and more.

    Still too much!

I honestly haven't tasted it yet and I'm afraid to. Maybe it's OK for younger people, but for those of us in their 60's & up, it's TOO MUCH SALT!!! I can add more if I want. I don't need you too drown the sauce in sodium , to the point that I can't taste the sauce!! It's ridiculous and I'm not happy!
