This koikuchi (dark) soy sauce from soy sauce brewery Teraoka is a naturally brewed soy sauce that can be used in both cooking and as a dipping sauce. It has a quite mellow flavor compared to other koikuchi shoyu, due to its natural fermentation process. However, this long and tedious process actually makes this particular shoyu easier to eat, because its flavor matches well with many different kinds of dishes and is not overpowering like other koikuchi shoyu.
The best part about this particular koikuchi shoyu is that it comes in a large, 1000ml bottle so that you can enjoy the authentic flavor of naturally brewed Japanese shoyu whenever you please. Once you experience this koikuchi shoyu’s exceptional flavor, we’re sure that it will become your new favorite all-purpose condiment.

this stuff is great and nice to use in soups and stir-fry. I like to even put it into basic ramen and it kicks it up a notch. Definitely not as viscous as the more premium stuff so more intended for soups.
