Oboro Towel
Oboro Towel was founded in Mie Prefecture in 1908 after securing a patent for the “Oboro Dyed Towel Manufacturing Method,” a technique that colors only the weft threads to create subtle patterns that appear when wet.
In 1928, the company began mass-producing Japan’s first thin-thread gauze towels, helping Oboro Towels gain nationwide recognition for their soft texture, high absorbency, and distinctive design.
Oboro Towels are soft, fluffy, and extremely absorbent, ideal for bathing, drying hair, wiping hands or face, and caring for babies. Every towel is made entirely in-house, ensuring premium quality, durability, and comfort.

The nostalgic simplicity and versatility of Oboro Towels have made them a timeless favorite for over 100 years. Available in bath towels, face towels, hand towels, and long towels, they bring traditional Japanese quality to daily life.
