To make a fluffy tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet), it is essential to have a high-quality cooking tool that has good thermal conductivity and heat-retaining properties. If you are somebody who regularly eats egg dishes, this square-shaped, cast iron pan is the one for you.

The Nambu ironware pan: traditional Japanese metalwork produced in Iwate Prefecture. Nambu ironware is noted for its long-lasting corrosion resistance, good heat insulation, and even heat circulation.

Try this pan to cook tamagoyaki and you will realize the difference with ordinary skillets. It is also ideal for other egg dishes like scrambled egg, skillet quiche, Frittata, and more.

The wooden handle prevents your hand from burning when cooking.

The cast-iron cookware requires a process called seasoning to avoid food sticking to it and rusting. It is said that proper and constant seasoning allows the product to last for decades.

After use, brush the cooking surface with a scrubbing brush or sponge and rinse impurities with warm water. You do not have to use detergent unless it is extremely dirty.

After cleansing, wipe off any moisture well, and heat plates to remove humidity. To prevent rusting, dry them completely.

Cool the omelet pan for a while, add oil to the entire cooking surface, and store it in a dry place. Wrap it with newspaper so that you can keep it hygienic and dry.

    Tamagoyaki Pan

I love the quality of this pan. You can buy this pan for a lot less than the United States but not of the same quality. I make the perfect Japanese rolled omelets with it.
