日本を出て約５０年。フランスはアルザス在住。このユーハイムのバームクーヘンが食べたくても手に入らず諦めてたら、偶然にも当サイトを見つけオーダーかけたら届いた。やはり美味しい。米系フランス人の家内に食べさせたら気に入られてしまい、これわたしのって宣言され、とられてしまった。まあ盗みぐいで忍んでるけど、近々再オーダーが必要だ。バームクーヘンはアルザスをながれるライン川対岸の、ドイツ黒い森地方の発祥のようであっちの菓子屋にバームクーヘンってあるんだけど、このユーハイムのとは似ても似つかない。日本人は幸せだなあ。

Since I ordered and received this cake that I liked in my childhood, my wife, Franco-American, liked right away and declared it is hers.
So, I have to eat it clandestinely. For my wife, it is ordered every month.
Here, in France, they charge the Custom Duty at about 1600 Yen equivalent. But, we have no choice and I will keep on order it.
By the way, the topping was chocolate before? That is my memory of my childhood era.
