I have an induction stovetop. I wanted a stainless steel kettle that was not made in China. There aren't many options out there, and I was so glad to have found this one. Great craftsmanship and design. Little touches like the angle of the handle that makes it easy, even with small hands, to use a single finger to hold the lid down. The only downside to this kettle is that every time you use it, you'll be reminded how thoughtlessly designed most of other current kitchenware is.
