This is the most ingenious design, great quality, and works so well! I frequently cook many varieties of lentils and rice some of which are quite small, like beluga lentils and basmati rice. Trying to wrangle a strainer and bowl was annoying and constantly trying to pick bits out from under the strainer rim was driving me crazy. Being able to wash, soak, and strain all in the same bowl is SO nice, and I feel like I can get the food cleaner with less water and way less fuss. The holes are nice and small and I rarely have anything catch. It’s a great size and also handy to use as an extra bowl when I chopping veggies. The thickness is nice and it feels sturdy. Everyone should have one of these!

I am used to the traditional plastic rice washing bowl, but this bowl really works well not just for rice but for other things as well because there’s less drainage although it drains very well. You also set it up on the flat spot on the bottom so it tilts a great addition to anybody’s kitchen.
