This Premium Usukuchi Shoyu by Suehiro is a high-quality Japanese light soy sauce, naturally brewed with the best, local ingredients.

While koikuchi dark soy sauce can change the color of your soups, stews and other dishes, usukuchi shoyu's light color leaves your food looking fresh and bright, while still flavoring it with the delicious Japanese soy sauce taste you know and love.

The Premium Usukuchi Shoyu by Suehiro is the result of their mission to develop a high-quality usukuchi soy sauce that not only brings out and enhances the natural flavors of the other ingredients, but allows you to enjoy the flavor of the shoyu too.

The origin of usukuchi soy sauce is Tatsuno, in the mountains of Hyogo prefecture. The area's cool climate, and natural soft water are ideal for soy sauce production. Suehiro soy sauce brewery is based in Tatsuno, and has been brewing shoyu there since 1887.

This shoyu is made with 100% domestic soybeans and wheat grown in Hyogo Prefecture, local to Suehiro's shoyu brewery. The mellow flavor of this shoyu makes it ideal for pouring on top of finished dishes, or as a dipping sauce.

Add this usukuchi shoyu to any finished dish you want to season. Try it over tofu, or other light ingredients, for a shoyu flavor that doesn't overpower. Use it as a dipping sauce for vegetables, dumplings, meat, and more.
