Compared with other koikuchi soy sauces, it has a beautiful amber color, so it does not turn the dishes too darkish.

This soy sauce has a very sharp initial bite that does linger for a bit. It’s salty but the saltiness is well-balanced and isn’t overpowering. This is a good choice if you like your soy sauce to have a bit of a kick. Lots of flavor in this bottle.

I've been using this soy sauce for a while, I usually got it from a Wagyu beef website in the US. It was recommended to pair this soy sauce with Wagyu beef and it honestly didn't disappoint. This soy sauce really enhances the flavors of the beef. It is a less salty than Kikkoman but is still very fragrant. It's great that I can purchase this from Japanesetaste at a cheaper price.
