Hario

Hario is a Japanese heat-resistant glassware company founded in 1921 that has been dedicated to the design, production, and sale of heatproof glass since its inception. At the time of its founding, Hario’s main line of business was glassware for laboratories and medical use. After World War II, the demand for household items began rising and they first produced a new coffee syphon. Since then, Hario has expanded to produce more of such items including coffee- and tea-making equipment, microwave-safe cooking devices, pitchers, decanters, rice cookers, etc. In recent years, Hario has become known as one of the global coffee industry leaders in “pour-over” brewing equipment.

Their cone-shaped coffee dripper is packed with functional beauty, in the sense that its combination of glass dripper and wooden holder gives the product an elegant look while bringing you the pleasure of making a coffee. Although it is not a glass product, their paper filters are also recommended by coffee fans who have tried them.
