Oigen

Oigen have been making pots and kettles out of cast iron for over 130 years. They understand they can’t keep up with mass-production, they can’t compete with more convenient brands, as they say, companies where you can push a button and the product is ready.

They sweat over the heat of molten iron; they lift heavy casting molds, and struggle every day against the stubborn iron and sand. But they’re always fascinated by the result: beautiful, handmade cast iron tetsubin and tetsupan.

Oigen don’t want life to feel convenient or easy, they want to take the time to carefully do things the right way to feel the joy of a simple life once more.
