This clipper was fantastic -- ultra sharp, easy to use -- and I was so impressed with it after using it for 2 months that I bought a second one for my husband. But when mine reached 6 months old, the clippers started rusting and I knew they wouldn't last long. I notified the company about the defect and sent photos. They blamed "excess moisture," but the clipper was stored it in a completely dry bathroom drawer, we live in the high desert of the southwest United States where relative humidity is typically extremely low, and use the fan to ventilate our bathroom after showering, so it couldn't have been exposed to "excess moisture." The manufacturer asked me to ship the clippers back at my own expense so they could examine them, which I would gladly have done to they could address this problem (as the clippers are quite expensive), but they would not guarantee they would send me another clipper. I spent over $40 on this item and loved the quality of it, but after owning it for 6 months, I can say I am sorry I bought this clipper because it rusted VERY quickly, and since the company doesn't stand by its products, I do not recommend buying this clipper. Instead, I recommend buying a brand of quality clipper that promises it will be "rust free," preferably from a domestic supplier for the lower cost and ease of shipping, and choose a seller that guarantees their products and has a reasonable return policy in case you get a defective item.
