Its dark-brownish hue makes you feel that the sauce looks heavy, but its flavor is mild and has a good balance between sweetness and robustness. You can enjoy the flavor of ingredients as it is free of chemical seasonings and coloring agents.

I will be using this sauce because my husband loves Tonkatsu, which he first had on the island of honcho north of Tokyo, on a winter skiing trip.
No one makes Tonkatsu in the restaurants here. (In La Conner, WA).
