The main characteristic of the Marukome Kyo Kaseki Miso Paste is that dashi (broth) made from quality bonito, mackerel and konbu (kelp) has been added to the slowly matured red miso to bring out a rich flavour and aroma.
The konbu kelp is from Hokkaido and the bonito flakes are from Yaezu, Japan.

DIRECTIONS OF USE:
For making miso soup; boil any ingredients of your choice in 400ml of water.
Add 3 spoon full of the miso and wait until it melts.
