After nearly a century of refining their miso-making techniques, Marukome expanded nationwide in 1948. By 1978, they became the number one miso producer in Japan, earning a reputation for quality, consistency, and innovation in traditional Japanese food culture.

Today, Marukome offers a wide range of fermented and soybean-based products including classic miso pastes, instant miso soup, organic miso powder, and convenient ready-to-eat soups. Their mascot, the beloved Marukome-kun, is a symbol of the brand’s long-standing heritage.
