Mediplus is a Japanese skincare brand founded in 2000 by a dermatologist seeking solutions for her own chronic dryness. Instead of treating dryness after it appears, Mediplus focuses on products that prevent moisture loss from the start.

The brand became widely known for its gentle, all-in-one moisturizers designed to simplify routines while delivering long-lasting hydration. These formulas help strengthen the skin barrier and maintain moisture throughout the day, making them ideal for sensitive or dehydrated skin.

Mediplus grew rapidly through mail-order sales, eventually earning nationwide recognition and adoption by dermatology clinics. The brand later expanded overseas and opened a research institute in Taiwan to further improve its moisture-retention technology.
