Have you ever tried "chasoba", or soba noodles mixed with green tea? This is Itohkyuemon's matcha soba noodles mixed with high quality green tea powder.

This soba is made with a delicate blend of matcha powder and chosen flour. You can enjoy the tea flavor spreading into your mouth every bite.

You can enjoy this soba with your sight, smell, and feeling: its bright green color decorates your dining room; its rich matcha aroma gives refreshment throughout the mealtime; and its comfort throat feeling offers is truly pleasant.

Available in both hot and cold sobas. You can mix the boiled noodles with the vegetables as you are making a spaghetti salad or you can make a soba sushi rolls by using the noodles as a replacement of rice.

Itohkyuemon is a Japanese tea shop established in 1832 in Uji, Kyoto and specialized in green tea and matcha sweets.

Put the soba noodles into a large pot with boiling water. Make sure all noodles go under water.

Boil for approximately 5 minutes and stir the noodles softly.

Prepare a big bowl of cold water, and transfer the boiled noodles into this cold water. Soak them for 10~20 seconds, then stick your hands into the cold water and gently rub them.

Drain the water well and transfer the noodles to the dish. You can dry it softly with a few paper towels if the noodles are still soaking-wet.
