This unique miso soup set comes with 5 pieces, allowing you to create different variations of tasty miso soup at home. 

The first item in the set, and arguably the most important item, is the Adachi Naturally Brewed Organic Miso Paste. This delicious miso paste is additive-free and contains only domestically produced organic soybeans, organic rice, and natural salt from Okinawa. It’s a super tasty miso paste that’s perfect for making hearty miso soups, and it’s an item that's hard to find even in Japan! You’ll be able to scoop the perfect amount of miso into your broth using the included Leye Miso Muddler and Whisk - the perfect kitchen tool you didn’t know you needed!

The next two items are the Daihoku Japanese Dried Vegetable and Wakame Seaweed Mix and Miyamura Hana Fu Flower Shaped Dried Wheat Gluten, which allow you to create endless varieties of miso soup. The Daihoku vegetable and seaweed mix contains vegetables and seaweed that are all unique to Japan and they’re all of course delicious in miso soup. The Miyamura Hana Fu are uniquely and beautifully shaped pieces of dried wheat gluten, which is similar to seitan, which is another common Japanese miso soup ingredient. 

In order to really make this miso soup kit shine, we’ve included Izuri Additive-Free Kombu Dashi - a luxurious dashi stock pack-type that uses only carefully selected materials. It’s a Japanese hidden pack-type dashi gem loved by professional chefs and home cooks alike. 

Thanks to this unique J Taste Miso Soup Set, you’ll be able to recreate authentic and delicious bowls of miso soup in the comfort of your own home! You don’t need to travel all the way to Japan to experience real Japanese cuisine anymore.

Boil a sachet of Izuri Additive-Free Kombu Dashi in around 400 ml of water for 3 to 5 minutes (without tearing). Remove the sachet, and add the desired amount of Daihoku Dried Vegetable and Wakame Mix and Miyamura Hana Fu, and simmer at low heat until soft (around 3 minutes). Dip the larger end of the Leye Miso Muddler & Whisk into your miso paste, twist, and pull out the perfect two tablespoon scoop. Whisk the miso paste into the broth until dissolved with no lumps.

Feel free to play around with the ratios of the dried vegetables, wakame, and Fu to find your new favorite miso soup. You can also add in any of your other favorite miso soup ingredients like tofu, mushrooms, and more!

Note: If you prefer a miso soup that is lighter, use the smaller end of the scoop (which measures exactly one tablespoon of miso).
