Our snack box isn’t like other snack boxes. The first big difference is that ours is not subscription-based. You can purchase the box whenever you want without worrying about signing up or canceling a subscription. Additionally, our box changes regularly based on seasonality and customer feedback. We’re always talking to and meeting with local suppliers who are extremely passionate about the tasty treats they’ve created. We’re passionate about them too! That’s why we’ve launched the J Taste Snack Box - to support and promote local Japanese producers all across the world. They’re excited for people outside of Japan to try their food, and we’re thrilled to help them experience that!

I'd suggested a grab-box-like option to try out different offerings in a survey they'd posted. I was looking for something to make it easier to find new snacks to buy without getting a bunch of something I might end up not liking. Low-and-behold, they actually listened, so I ordered it. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised at how much of the stuff in this box I liked. I haven't quite finished everything, yet, but out of what I have tried (about 85% of it), I only found one item that I could not finish, not because it tasted bad, so much as had a really weird texture to it that didn't agree with me. I did find several items I will likely be ordering in the future, if they sell them in standalone packaging! Overall, a great sample box!

We have enjoyed trying the new snacks. There were several kinds, and not the standard 7-9 of other boxes that require a subscription. I would have preferred more salty/savory options and fewer different kinds of matcha sweets, but I did find one that would be happy to get again. Overall, if we knew we would get a different variety in the box, I would definitely order again! And I would get a photo before we ate half the contents!

This has been fun trying all the different items in my first curated box. My favorite item right now is the organic Matcha green tea powder. I've made Oakmilk Lattes for myself and guests and everyone is raving about how wonderful it is. The crunchy lotus chips are also a big hit.
