Unlike other mayonnaises that contain whole egg, Kewpie Mayo is made only with egg yolk (concretely 4 egg yolks per 500g of mayonnaise). The amino acids that are yielded from the egg yolk protein is a key factor for the distinctively rich flavor and smoothness of this Japanese mayonnaise.
Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise is naturally preserved with vinegar and salt (no chemical preservatives are added).
This product is Kewpie’s flagship product since 1925 and goes well with salads, sandwiches, karaage fried chicken, sushi, fries, pasta or fish.
Packed in an easy-to-handle squeeze bottle with two tips. Use the narrow tip for decoration and the star-shaped tip for generous topping.

I never had Kewpie Mayo before and I heard about it on the show “the Fishmonger” he said ALL the best commercial fishermen and coastal restaurant chefs use this mayonnaise in their fresh fish cooking.

The mayo is tasty and I use it on and in many dishes. One of my favorite Japanese dishes I like to make is okonomiyaki with Kewpie mayo as a topping. I use it in tamago sando and potato salad as well. It's yummy as a sandwich spread too.

The Kewpie Mayo is delicious. It reminds me of some of the sandos from Japan when I use this to make my own sandwiches here. This was also cheaper from Japanese Taste than from some other online stores. Overall a great value for great taste.
