This is a Japanese bread knife that was produced by skilled craftsmen in Tsubame Sanjo, a region of Japan renowned for its high quality kitchenware.
The blade is made of rust-resistant molybdenum vanadium stainless steel which combines the best qualities of a hard and sharp carbon steel, with the corrosion-resistant qualities of stainless.
The combination of wave serrations on the tip and heel of the blade along with a straight, sharp blade in the middle, facilitates smooth cutting regardless of the kind of bread. No matter how tough the crust, or how soft the bread, the surface will be smooth and clean after cutting.
The handle is made of natural wood which is very durable and comfortable to hold.
Move the knife back and forth by using the serrated edge instead of pushing the blade from above.
Do not use this product on frozen foods, crustacean shells, or bones.
Wash the blade well and keep it dry when in storage.
