    Toppogi Rice Cakes can be used for hot pot, stews, stir fried dishes or with the right topping even as dessert.

    Youki Toppogi Sticks are made with Japanese rice for achieving a superior taste and chewy texture. (Japanese rice is regarded as high quality because it has high elasticity and sweetness, necessary characteristics to achieve a delicious rice cake).

    Instructions

    For confectionery; boil the rice cakes until soft and add any topping of your preference like jam, kinakoanko paste, etc.

    For cooking; boil the rice cakes until the desired texture and then stir fry or cook directly into a pot with other ingredients.

      They tasted ok but I

      They tasted ok but I had no idea how to cook them because it was not translated to English so I had to guess. Also, they were not vacuum packed and the inside of package, of sticky rice cakes was, wet when delivered so I had no idea if they should've been kept refrigerated. I will probably not buy them again.
