Malony

Malony is a unique variety of Japanese glass noodles, or harusame. Harusame were developed in Japan over 1000 years ago, as a clear noodle made mainly from mung bean starch.

In the 1960s, Malony developed their unique noodles by changing the key ingredient to potato starch, derived from high-quality Hokkaido potatoes. This minor change made Malony noodles much less susceptible to falling apart when boiling when compared to traditional harusame.

Malony noodles are gluten-free, low-calorie, high-fiber noodles that are easy to digest.
