UCC

UCC was founded in Kobe, Japan, in 1933 as a purveyor of coffee and coffee beans.

By 1958, their coffee had become so popular that they opened their very own cafe in Fukuoka. And in 1969, they developed the world’s first canned coffee - which is now one of Japan’s most popular beverages.

Now, UCC owns and directly manages coffee farms in Hawaii, Jamaica and Indonesia, to ensure they get the best and most sustainable ingredients. Their Jamaican coffee plantation was the first in Jamaica to become Rainforest Alliance certified.

When you drink UCC coffee, you can be confident that you are drinking high-quality, sustainable and ethical coffee made to Japan’s highest standards.
